Long-strand fiber from post-harvest banana stems.
Strong, breathable and fully compostable cellulose fiber recovered from pseudostems that would otherwise be burned or left to rot.
Properties
High tensile strength with a soft handfeel, good moisture absorption and natural lustre. Available in graded lengths and degrees of softening.
Applications
Textiles and blended yarns, ropes and twines, non-woven bio-packaging, paper and moulded composites.
